The State Bank of India (SBI) is all set to release the SBI PO Prelims Result 2025 very soon. Candidates who appeared for the Probationary Officer (PO) Prelims Exam can check their results online on the official SBI website. Along with the result, SBI will also release the category-wise cut-off marks and scorecards for all candidates.
This result will decide the qualifying status of aspirants for the next stage — the Mains Examination. The SBI PO exam is one of the most competitive banking exams in India, and this year’s recruitment drive is for over 600 vacancies across various categories.

How to Check SBI PO Prelims Result 2025?
- Visit the official SBI website: sbi.co.in.
- Go to the ‘Join SBI’ tab and click on ‘Current Openings’.
- Select ‘Recruitment of Probationary Officers’.
- Click on the Result Link.
- Enter your Registration Number/Roll Number and Password/Date of Birth.
- Download and print your result for future reference.
(Tip: Candidates who forgot their login details can retrieve them using the credentials they registered with at the time of application.)

- The Prelims exam is qualifying in nature.
- SBI uses a normalisation method to calculate scores.
- A number of candidates equal to the announced vacancies will be shortlisted for the Mains exam.

The final selection will be based on the Mains exam and Interview performance, as Prelims are only qualifying.
